  • Fryer chicken- 1
  • Carrots- 2 (diced)
  • Celery- 2 ribs (diced)
  • Chicken bouillon- 1 tbsp
  • Bisquick- 2 cups
  • Salt- to taste
  • Pepper- to taste
  • Parsley flakes
  • Water- 2 or 3 cups


Chop up a fryer and brown it in a skillet. Add chicken along with carrots, celery, and water to the pressure cooker. Add chicken bouillon; cover the lid and cook at 15 psi for around 20 minutes. Remove from stove and allow it to cool. Open the lid to find that the flesh of the chicken comes out of the bones. Take out all the chicken and season the remaining liquid with pepper as well as salt.

Prepare the dumplings. Blend bisquick with sufficient water to make dough. Roll them into balls of 2 inch size. Cover each dumpling with parsley flakes and keep them in the pressure cooker along with the liquid and chicken. Cover the lid and cook for 15 more minutes. Switch off the stove and open the lid once the pressure is released. Transfer the contents to a serving plate and serve hot.
